This beautiful king room has a lovely garden view, antique French daybed, Georgian and Jacobean antiques. The room (part of a spectacular Tudor Great Chamber) boasts a spectacular 18ft ceiling height. The bed is a Regency four poster, with tree of life needlework curtains.

This King bedroom, in the most ancient part of the house (dating from the 1390's!) features an Anglo-Indian 1850's four-poster, Georgian and late 17th century antiques (including a rare and beautiful 18th century lacquered Chinese chest) and sumptuousi bathroom with slate floor and washbasins. It even has an illuminated coat of arms of the Wingate family- who owned the house for some 450 years!

King Charles II slept in this opulent crimson-damask decorated room in the 1670's. The room is decorated as it was at that time, complete with state bed, gilt fringed curtains and luxurious bathroom-once the adjoining 17th century dressing room. The room possesses 17th century windows, ceiling and cornicing, floorboards and panelling. The mattress is a £5,000 Vispring, guaranteeing wonderful sleep. The bathroom has underfloor heating, heated towel rail, huge bath and overbath power shower.
